The good news – Chaplain Pruitt was able to carry on the tradition of the annual Back to School Bash last Friday. Over 200 soldiers, training cadre and family members of Third Battalion Special Warfare Center and School participated in the drive-through event.
Operation Resolute provided free school supplies and lunch, and Chaplain Pruitt gave families helpful information about finances, chapel, community services and counseling options to help prepare them for the upcoming school year.
The great news – We’ve reached our goal for Phase 1 of the Blazing a New Trail Capital Campaign! Today we received a $100,000 grant. This will allow us to purchase not only the original 400 acre property for our home base but also a 30 acre waterfront tract for our retreat center. We give God the glory for providing $369,397 over the past 11 months. 89 donors have invested in this project.
