One of the most exciting things that happened at the start of the year, was to receive a donation taken up by the students at Cape Fear Christian School. This was initiated by the daughter of one of our supported Chaplains. We were so incredibly grateful at their heart and generosity, that we had to go and just say, “Thank You!”
This of course rolled us into the first duck hunt of the year. We had several Chaplains and groups in attendance, some of whom used the opportunity as a Father/Son or Father/Daughter Hunt. It was an exciting couple of days.
A special thanks goes out to Corey Carawan and Mattamuskeet Seafood for feeding the everyone.
