CaPITAL CAMPAIGN
Blazing a New Trail
PHASE 1: Completed
Purchase 400 acres in Hyde Co. for a hunting and fishing home base for NC military families.
We've reached our goal for Phase 1 of the Blazing a New Trail Capital Campaign! On October 28, 2020, we closed on a 400-acre property for our hunting and fishing home base and a 30-acre waterfront tract for our retreat center. We give God the glory for providing $369,397 to complete Phase 1.
Stay Tuned for PHASE 2 in 2021
Funding is needed to build a 5200 sq. ft. retreat center for all of our outdoor and family events and provide the infrastructure needed to utilize the property year-round.
Operation Resolute®
Operation Resolute® began by hosting outdoor events for one chaplain and 37 service members in 2013.
We currently serve dozens of NC chaplains and have served over 6,000 service members and their families within the Air Force, Army, Army Special Forces, Special Operations Command and USMC.
A home base will provide the capacity to double the number of active-duty military personnel who attend Operation Resolute® hunting, fishing and family retreats.
A Home Base
A home base will give NC service members, their spouses and children the opportunity to have the spiritual refreshment and physical renewal that they critically need. Not only will these weekends away make a difference, but the ongoing support from chaplains will make an impact on their lives for years to come.
A PLACE FOR RESTORATION
He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.” – Psalm 23:2,3
Consider giving a financial gift to the Blazing a New Trail Campaign so that we can better meet the growing needs of our military families.
Campaign Progress
We love how Operation Resolute® serves those who have served us. By creating spaces where those in the military can have fellowship and quality time with each other and members of their families, Operation Resolute® builds relationships and provides meaningful outlets for those who serve our country. American Homesmith is a big Operation Resolute® fan!”
