Even though fireworks were cancelled, OR started July with a bang by signing a contract on a 400 acre tract of land on the Pungo river in Hyde County. This land is ideal for Airmen, Soldiers and Marines to duck, deer, turkey and bear hunt, fish and float, and we have plans to build a lodge for family resiliency retreats. Our chaplains will be able to use this as a place of restoration for soldiers and families. We are at 77% of the $315,000 needed for closing. At $787.50 an acre, would you consider funding an acre or making a donation of any amount to help us take down the final 93 acres?
