Prizes, Accolades & What We Do Best

Thank you to Drew Walker with Blueprinted Firearms. Ben Goetz is is ecstatic to have completed his new rifle build. Thank you to all who participated in the Mega Sportsman’s Raffle which helped Operation Resolute raise funds to host Soldiers, Airmen, Marines and their families at outdoor events.

On behalf of the Board of Directors I want to congratulate Joel McDaniel on his recent achievement being named the “Sportsman of the Year” by the North Carolina Wildlife Federation at the 59th Annual Governor’s Conservation Achievement Awards Banquet. If you know Joel, you know he doesn’t want the light shined on him for the fantastic work he is doing with Operation Resolute so I will do it for him. As someone who has witnessed first-hand what it’s taken to shape, form and operate this ministry I can confidently say he is deserving of the recognition. Through times of need and times of abundance Joel has remained faithful to the mission. Joel knows God established the work and simply chose him to be the workman. I would be remiss if I didn’t point out this award isn’t possible without generous donors and volunteers who make the work possible. I speak for the entire Board when I say it’s an honor to be included in the mission and work of Operation Resolute. Doing what we do best! Operation Resolute hosted a fall Chaplain Clay Shoot at DeWitt’s Outdoor Sports. This year ACR Cares stepped up to the plate and sponsored some great prizes!

Our Fall Hunting & Fishing season is full between now and February – please pray for solid connections between the Chaplains and their Soldiers.

OR would also like to extend an invitation to our volunteer work weekend on October 6-7. Please reach out to Dave Brubaker if you are able to attend: dave@operationresolute.org.
